Disclaimer & Terms of Service
Please read this page before booking a session or using anything on this website. By booking a session, buying a product, or using this website, you agree to what is set out below.
1. What this service is
I am Adedayo Adeniji, and I provide coaching and mentoring. Coaching is a forward-looking, collaborative conversation aimed at helping you set your own goals, think things through and decide on your own next steps.
Coaching is not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, psychiatry, medical care, legal advice or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for any of them. I am not acting as your doctor, therapist, counsellor, solicitor or financial adviser, and nothing said in a session should be treated as advice of that kind.
2. No guarantee of results
Coaching depends heavily on your own effort, honesty, circumstances and willingness to act. Because of that, no specific outcome, result, income, improvement or timescale is promised or guaranteed.
Any examples, case studies, testimonials or results mentioned on this website or in any materials are what those particular people experienced. They are illustrations, not a promise of what you will experience. Your results may be different, and may be nothing at all.
3. Your responsibility
You remain fully responsible for your own life, choices, decisions and actions, both during our work together and afterwards. Any decision you make as a result of coaching is your decision, taken freely and at your own risk.
You are also responsible for your own physical and mental wellbeing. If anything raised in a session brings up difficulties for you, please seek appropriate professional support.
4. Health, wellbeing and getting the right help
Coaching is not suitable as treatment for a mental health condition, an eating disorder, addiction, trauma, or any medical condition. If you are dealing with something of that kind, please speak to your GP or a qualified professional. Coaching may run alongside that care, but never in place of it.
If you are in crisis or you are worried about your immediate safety, please contact emergency services on 999, call NHS 111, or contact the Samaritans free on 116 123, at any time, day or night.
I may suggest at any point that coaching is not the right fit for what you are dealing with, and may end our work together and signpost you elsewhere. Where that happens, any unused sessions will be refunded.
5. Website content
Anything published on this website, including blog posts, poems, videos, downloads and social media content, is general information shared for interest and reflection. It is not personal advice and it does not take your individual circumstances into account. Please do not rely on it as the only basis for any decision.
Reasonable care is taken to keep the website accurate and up to date, but no promise is made that it is complete, current or error-free. Links to other websites are provided for convenience only, and no responsibility is taken for their content, products or services.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, I am not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind arising from your use of this website, from any coaching session, or from any decision or action you take or fail to take as a result. This includes loss of income, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, wasted expenditure and any indirect or consequential loss.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the total amount you have paid me for services in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
7. Confidentiality
What you share in a session is treated as confidential and is not passed on to anyone else, except where I am required to disclose it by law, or where I have a serious concern about your safety or the safety of another person. Wherever possible I will tell you first if that situation arises.
8. Bookings, payment and cancellation
Fees are as agreed at the time of booking and are payable in advance unless otherwise arranged. If you need to move a session, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without contact, may be charged in full.
If I need to cancel or move a session, it will be rescheduled at a time that suits you, or refunded.
Your right to change your mind. If you book coaching or order a personalised poem online, by email, by phone or by message, you have 14 days from the day you book to cancel and get a full refund, without giving a reason. If you ask for a session to take place, or for work on your poem to begin, within those 14 days, you can still cancel, but you will pay for what has already been provided. Once a session has been fully delivered, or a personalised poem has been finished to your request, that part can no longer be cancelled. To cancel, simply tell me by email or WhatsApp. Refunds are made within 14 days, using the same payment method you used. This does not affect your other legal rights as a consumer.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website and in any accompanying materials, including text, poems, images, workbooks and recordings, belongs to me unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to use it for your own personal use. Please do not copy, republish, resell or share it more widely without permission.
10. Your information
Any personal information you give me, such as your name, contact details and anything you share during a session, is used only to arrange and deliver coaching and to keep the records I need to. It is stored securely, and it is never sold or passed to anyone else for marketing. This is handled in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can ask me at any time what I hold about you, and ask me to correct it or delete it. There is more detail on the privacy page.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published on this website on the day you book is the version that applies to that booking.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
